Producers were interested in Sonu Sood but when director Harish and Pawan Kalyan saw Rakht Charitra they were very impressed with Abhimanyu’s performance as Bukka Reddy and they decided to cast Abhimanyu Singh.
When contacted,Abhimanyu confirmed the news.”Yes I have already completed two schedules.It’s a big budget film and people re waiting desperately to watch this film.I was pleasantly surprised to see that the director made my role much better and stronger than what Sonu Sood did in Dabbang.” The film is releasing in March 2012.
